- Hogwarts is feeling like home to Harry and it is very sweet
- Shay hates Dumbledore's staff choices
- Where did the idea for Quidditch come from?
- Did McGonagall buy Harry's broom from her own fund or school funds?
- Are Percy and Bill the only Weasley's who weren't on the school Quidditch team?
- Hermione is very annoying! Would she have done better socially in Ravenclaw, or would it have impeded her growth?
- Why did Dumbledore send everyone to their dorms when the Slytherin common room is IN the dungeons?? Does Dumbledore want Slytherin's to be troll food?
- We love hats!
- Snape is acting super sketchy!
- The Troll in the bathroom scene is a great example of how Hermione is very gifted intellectually but is not good under pressure
- Theory: Hermione threw herself under the bus with the Professors to earn Harry and Ron's friendship
- Important Question: what is a Jacket Potato?
- The Golden Trio is born!
- Would Harry and Ron have become friends with Hermione if it weren't for the Troll situation?

Potter Revisited Episode #9 | Being A Gryffindor Sounds Exhausting Aka Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Chapter 9 "The Midnight Duel"

- Harry thinks he is going to get beaten - we are surprised by the corporal punishment mention

- Why did Madam Hooch leave a bunch of unsupervised 11 year olds alone?
- McGonagall - possibly the most strict teacher, bends the rules for Harry. Is it just her competitive spirit or is it something more?
- Is Hermione aware of how poor she is doing socially? She is in everyone's business in this chapter.

- Harry is a Swell Guy
- We meet a lot of new characters and a few big names are dropped
- Harry finally sees this Dumbledore guy
- We love Harry and Ron's friendship
- Comparing Families: The Malfoys Vs. The Weasley's
- Transportation methods
- Was it wise to send Harry back to the Dursley's after everything?
- Were the Dursley's angry at Harry, or afraid of him?
- Was Molly asked to help Harry at the platform, or was it a coincidence?

- Lots of biases of Houses pushed in this chapter - very clearly framing Gryffindor as the "good" house and Slytherin as the "bad" house
